Forcas.

Forcas (also recorded as Forras or Foras) appears in early modern demonological catalogues as a great president commanding twenty-nine legions. In Johann Weyer’s Pseudomonarchia Daemonum (entry 29), with Reginald Scot’s translation, he is described as appearing in the shape of a strong man. The entry attributes to him knowledge of herbs and precious stones, instruction in logic and ethics, and the recovery of lost items. A parallel entry appears as spirit 31 in the seventeenth-century Goetia.

Later reference works sometimes conflate Forcas with Furcas, a separate spirit catalogued by Weyer (entry 39) and the Goetia (entry 50) as a knight with twenty legions who rides carrying a sharp weapon. In A Dictionary of Angels, Gustav Davidson groups Forcas and Furcas, describing the entry as a fallen angel. The two catalogue entries describe different ranks and offices; neither supplies an earlier angelic choir or story of a fall for this president.
