In Johann Weyer’s Pseudomonarchia Daemonum (section 5), published online by Joseph H. Peterson at Esoteric Archives with Reginald Scot’s English text, Amon is identified as a great marquis. He appears in the shape of a wolf with a serpent’s tail, spitting fire before adopting human likeness, and is attributed with reconciling friends and foes.
