Bernael.

Bernael is described as an angel of darkness in Gustav Davidson’s A Dictionary of Angels (1967), printed page 75.

The later dictionary report

Davidson associates the name with what he calls Falasha lore, referring to the Beta Israel, the Jewish community of Ethiopia. His brief entry adds that Bernael is regarded as an angel of evil when identified or equated with Beliel.

This is a conditional comparison in a modern reference work. It should not become a blanket assertion that Bernael and Belial are interchangeable in every source.
