Damabiath.

Damabiath is a ritual name appearing in The Sixth and Seventh Books of Moses, a nineteenth-century pseudepigraphic magical compilation first published in German by Johann Scheible in 1849 and issued in English around 1880, rather than an ancient biblical text.

The Fifth Seal conjuration

In the section titled “The Fifth Seal — Seal of the Angels of Power,” the ritual text provides a conjuration addressed to the spirit Scheol. Near the end of this formula, Damabiath is invoked within a sequence of authoritative names alongside Damamiach and Sanul. The petition requesting an appearance in a pleasant and beautiful human form is grammatically directed to the summoned spirit itself, rather than serving as a description of Damabiath.

Later dictionary description

In Gustav Davidson’s 1967 A Dictionary of Angels (printed page 94), Damabiath is catalogued as an angel of the order of powers and attributed the appearance in a beautiful human form. This dictionary description differs from the wording and addressee of the Fifth Seal formula.
