Gomory.

In early modern demonological literature, Gomory is catalogued as a powerful duke governing twenty-six legions of spirits. In entry 51 of Johann Weyer’s 1577 Pseudomonarchia Daemonum, presented alongside the English version printed in Scot’s Discoverie of Witchcraft, the entity is said to appear in the form of a beautiful woman riding upon a camel, distinguished by the unusual detail of a duchess’s coronet tied about her waist or middle rather than worn upon the head.

A closely matching description is preserved as spirit 56 in the seventeenth-century Goetia, where the name is rendered Gemory (with editorial notes recording variants such as Gremory or Gamori). The catalogue attributes to this duke the office of answering questions concerning events of the past, present, and future, locating hidden treasures, and procuring the affection of women. These are offices and appearances attributed to the spirit in these catalogues.
