Jeduthun is appointed over twilight singers in Zohar 3:64b. Daniel C. Matt’s English translation describes subordinate officers arranging their song and gives the heavenly official a counterpart below.
Matt’s commentary, note 207, identifies the earthly counterpart with biblical Jeduthun associated with Psalm 39 and compares Psalms 62 and 77. The translated narrative and this editorial identification are distinct parts of the edition.
The nearby morning-song official is separately named Heman.
