Leo is presented as a protective angel in Yoga Vidya’s contemporary German spiritual account. The page distinguishes this use from the Latin word for lion and the zodiac sign of the same name.
Lion-strength as a spiritual image
Yoga Vidya associates Leo with opposition to evil and demons. It interprets the image through inner lion-strength overcoming negativity. To illustrate the theme, the page compares it with Narasimha, Vishnu’s lion manifestation. That comparison is an analogy made by the source.
The entry introduces spiritual, symbolic and psychological interpretations. It supplies a contemporary setting for the protective-angel use of the name.
