Leviathon is the heading of a modern Bible History reference-index page that directs readers to material about Leviathan. The page supplies an explicit connection between these English spellings.
The creature in Job and Psalms
In the King James Version of Job 41, the description opens by asking whether a person can catch leviathan with a hook. The chapter portrays tightly joined scales, fiery breath and a creature that makes the deep boil like a pot.
Psalm 104:25–26 places leviathan in the great sea alongside ships, saying that God made it to play there. These passages provide the biblical creature account indexed by the heading Leviathon.
