Oriel governs the tenth hour of the day in the Ars Paulina, part of the Lemegeton. Joseph H. Peterson’s transcription from Sloane MS 3825 gives the hour’s name as Lamarhon.
The tenth day hour
The passage assigns Oriel dukes and servants divided into ten orders, containing 5,600 spirits. It then names five chief dukes and ten lesser dukes with 1,100 servants attending them.
Oriel is the ruler of this hour; Lamarhon names the hour itself. The entry belongs to the grimoire’s arrangement of angels governing the hours of day and night.
