Ramiel is the angel presiding over true visions in R. H. Charles’s translation of 2 Baruch.
Baruch’s vision
Chapter 55:3 identifies Ramiel as an angel sent to Baruch after his prayer. The angel addresses Baruch’s distress about judgment.
In chapter 56:1–3, Ramiel explains that he has been sent to interpret the vision. He identifies the cloud seen by Baruch with the duration of the world.
