Sorath is named as the spirit of the Sun in Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa’s Three Books of Occult Philosophy.
The solar table
Book II, chapter 22 includes a table of names answering to the numbers of the Sun. It places Sorath beside 666. A separate entry names Nachiel as the intelligence of the Sun and associates that name with 111.
