Machidiel is presented in Yoga Vidya’s contemporary spiritual account as an angel associated with Aries and the month of March. The page explicitly lists Malchidiel among its alternative names. It also interprets Machidiel through courage, strength and self-confidence.
Malchidiel in Agrippa’s table
Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa’s Three Books of Occult Philosophy, Book II, chapter 14, includes a “Scale of the Number Twelve.” In the first column of its row of angels ruling the zodiacal signs, the English text prints Malchidiel. The corresponding sign is Aries and the month is March.
Yoga Vidya supplies the explicit naming connection used here. Agrippa’s table supplies the historical correspondence under the spelling Malchidiel.
